What is Winnipeg Alive!? - this site is mostly intended to be a place for me to share the information we gather, and build tools that will make life a little easier. It is intended to be a something that people will contribute to over time, and become increasingly broad in scope and usefulness.

Part of that requires a dialog - because without the dialog it is just a bunch of work, without an audience.

We want this site to become meaningful, organic and a product of the people that contribute to it.

To share information solicit feedback, we feel it is neccessary to use some of the social networking services that are around. Here are some notes on how we are going to do this:
Username Check - a useful site to help with reserving usernames.
I want to be discriminating about the services I choose - so I will only reserve the ones I want. I think using twitter to talk about site content will be useful, so I am going to set that up.
